Flycatcher ID

Identified as likely member of Tyrannidae, not sure of genus/species.

Location: southern Appalachian Mountains, US
Month: April (spring)
Empidonax species, probably not identifiable from this photo (this genus is very difficult and species are best identified by call.

From appearances in the photo, there are only two (maaaybe 3) real options. Alder and Willow Flycatchers are possible. But if I had to hazard a guess, I'd go Eastern Wood-Pewee. Apparent lack of any eyering and the very dark appearing bill are points in favor of pewee. However I don't think a solid ID can be reached here.

@Great Argus Lack of distinctive eye ring also made me suspect Eastern Wood Pewee, but I wasn't entirely sure of that ID. They are indeed correct for the time and location; Alder and Willow I would have to check (though I think far less likely anyhow).
