And finished!

After about 1500 hours of work on this drawing, I finally finished it! I haven't quite put the whiskers to bed yet, but I'll get onto those in due course, probably with the help of an erasing stencil although the tip @Ann Esther Sprizzo kindly shared with me certainly works as well :)

I started the drawing about 2 and a half years ago and almost gave it up about 4 times. I'm glad its done now :p. anyways, thanks for all the tips and nice comments :)
Not sure what I'll do next, I have that Hirola to finish and a few other sketches are also on the to do list.

@Arizona Docent
Yes, I always spend a while on the eyes and don't always get them right. I normally start with them because I don't want to have to do the whole drawing and then mess up the eyes, it makes no sense. They are quite unforgiving because for the light reflections in them you need to have a totally blank sheet of paper so it obviously doesn't work if you've only managed to half-erase a pitch-black pupil right where the light reflection needs to go :p
Thanks for your suggestions :)

@Zoofan15 I have done a few commissions but mostly for teachers. I do cards for my friends and people leaving the school in my house every year so that takes up a lot of time. School is pretty demanding because we have a good 3-4 hours of homework and an 8-9 hour long school day. However in the holidays I could, it's just no-one wants any. I've done one or two things for my grandparents. I might post an image of one of them later today.

@amur leopard I forgot how long a day at an English school was. I left at the age of nine, but got told every year after by family and friends I didn’t know how lucky I was to go to school in New Zealand. Cool, I look forward to seeing them if you get chance to post. :)
