Is the hippo exhibit at the Los Angeles Zoo outdated or decent?

@Matthew Guimac I would say it’s in need of an update. The land to water ratio seems off, more land than water and their pool is rather small for the mom and daughter. Their new master plan should be updating many of the exhibits in the zoo over the next 20 years, some areas will stay such as their recent master plan projects which I’ve loved personally

Mama hippo is Mara and baby is Rosie

@Julio C Castro The hippos will be moved into a state-of-the-art underwater viewing and naturalistic exhibit as a part of the Los Angeles Zoo's 2028 Master Plan.
