Is that photo taken outdoors? I thought that the koalas were just kept indoors.

No, there is an outdoor exhibit outside the Australian pavilion

Correct. Outdoor enclosure added 3/4 years ago. In front of the clouded leopards.

When I visited (2016) I'm pretty sure that it wasn't built.

I check my photos and it was under construction in june 2017.
