This is the lower of the two entries to Brådjupet seal enclosure in Kolmården. Brådjupet is translated into "Brå depth" and originates from the Bråviken (translated into "Brå bay") just outside the park. The bay can be seen from the seal enclosure. The pool is a natural ravine enclosed by a wall and is 9 m deep. This enclosure was built in 1993 and is home to grey seal, harbour seal and South African fur seal. The enclosure is to the left and the water surface is above the roof seen in the left upper corner. You can see a small part of the fence above the roof. The bottom of the pool is below the level that I'm standing at so it's a really impressive enclosure. This walkway serpentines up by the wall enclosing the ravine, leading up to the surface where it looks like this Brådjupet seal enclosure in Kolmården - ZooChat On the way up, there is underwater viewing in several levels. The blue house in the background is the filter house for the dolphinarium.
