One of the big shocks of visiting Alaska is how common taxidermy is. You see it in the airport and restaurants everywhere.

@Arizona Docent yep. If you squint a bit, it’s kind of like being in a really big natural history museum. If limited mostly to the large mammals of the north.

Anyone raise Argali in the US? Marco Polo or other subspecies.... maybe in Texas? I know there's a place called Brindle Ridge Bighorns that produces hybrids, but are there any other farms that produce pure wild sheep for those who want to keep them for the fun of it?

@Sarus Crane I believe there is an Argali in this picture. I’m not sure there are any in the United States.

@Pleistohorse It looks like the sign (bottom right) says Altai Argali on it.
