Sri Lankan (Grizzled) Giant Squirrel

One of the species in the "Critters Longhouse" small mammal display.

I love the way giant squirrels sit on branches!

@Zooish Are there any records of Ratufa bicolor / black giant squirrels in the Singapore Zoo's collection?

The zoo featured them on the Critters' Longhouse signages and one of their Wildlife Wonders publications in the past, but I never saw them in the flesh, nor have I seen photos of them being exhibited.

@Shaun_Casuarius yes the Zoo kept ratufa bicolor for a short while before keeping ratufa macroura. But i don't have any photos.
