Yes, seems a bit strange for such a new zoo to be making such strange mixes, especially when they have spent a pretty penny on theming (rebuilding Timbuktu, a Moroccan archway and the Chilean coast, among others )
A while ago a wallaby escaped from this enclosure and walked right into the lion enclosure (Which, as you might have guessed, ended badly). Since then the enclosure is no longer walkthrough and instead lined with an ugly sheep fence
