and LOL @Maguari !! Of course you're right! I've actually been enjoying learning a bit about birds by using iNaturalist to identify my photos when able to narrow to a specific national park. But in this case there were over 20 pages of birds possible for all of South Africa so I resorted to my usual: post "some bird" and hope my zoochat friends will help ID!
And then often I check zootierliste to see how commonly said bird is kept in captivity (since I have no idea for most species).
