A good example of one of their exhibits that's actually above average, like most raptor aviaries there actually. I wish the same could've been said about the owls though...
@Jarne The raptor area is pretty nice indeed. The old owl aviaries not so much, although I did not personally find them substantially worse than what I have seen at other zoos. But I have definitely also seen better owl housing.
@KevinB I've seen better and worse, but mostly better when it comes to owls (could be a bad sample size though). Wouldn't it be for some bad combination exhibits, they would probably be having world-class raptor breeding with those aviaries. Not only are they decently sized but their furnishing also reflects the needs of the birds in most cases, most notably privacy. Quite a surprise for Pairi Daiza compared to their average exhibit totally lacking privacy.
