Virginia Safari Park - Tortoise statue

How odd Virginia Zoo has the exact same one....

@ZooBinh Really?! They also have a big giraffe out front, but it's not the same as VZ's colorful one.

@TinoPup Yep, right out of the Okavango Delta, near the map and next to the Dippin Dots. The colorful one is alright, but it's location seems very out of place, not really fitting, unlike the elephant made out of butterflies, which I really love . Though I might say, VZ's is more bronze-goldish (the tortoise statue)

@ZooBinh Could be that theirs is newer. Artists sometimes do like 5 casts of big statues or something, could be they both bought the same one, or had them donated.
I like the elephant <3 and the giraffe, too.

@TinoPup yes that's true, I'll see if I can get a family member in VA Beach to go to the zoo and get a pic for me, or I'll do it myself!

I try to take photos of things people might want to see on here, especially if I know there's no photos of the location
