Luray Zoo - "Alligator Turtle proudly sponsored by Steve and Terri Irwin"

You'd think with the sponsorship of the Irwins they might be able to get the snapping turtles at least a slightly better exhibit...

@amur leopard That was my initial feeling, but some of us talked about this elsewhere, and there's no proof they sponsored the animal or anything of the sort. There's only the couple of photos that show they went into the gift shop. They could have sponsored it and then the money was used elsewhere, could have given money in general and the owners decided to say it was used to sponsor the turtle, etc.
