You are the only person I know who can identify this but not a blacksmith lapwing... no offence intended of course, it's just that I am very bad at IDing small birds and rodents
To be fair I wasn't able to identify this off the top of my head- I used iNaturalist. There, I can narrow to a specific national park and then it's just a matter of seeing which species matches from a narrowed selection. When it's a captive animal- I can't really narrow the species selection.
