Signage Example

I’ve always wanted to see this species. I haven’t seen it yet though.

@Yoshistar888 They are a fantastic species. They seem to relatively common in Australia and I see them quite often at local fish stores so I’m sure you’ll see one soon. They sell for around $30 per fish.

@WhistlingKite24 I’ve seen other African oddballs such as Peter’s Elephantnose and the Senegal Bichir.

@Yoshistar888 I’ve never managed to see Peter’s Elephantnose! Senegal Bichir is a cool-looking species. Have you seen a Spiny Eel? They are really unusual fish.

@WhistlingKite24 no not yet I haven’t seen a spiny eel.

If your ever in Melbourne my local fish store Coburg Aquarium usually has Peters elephant nose so that would be an easy tick.

African Butterflyfish are probably my favourite of the species mentioned in this comment thread. I've kept the Butterflyfish, a couple of mormyrid species including the Elephantnose, several species of Spiny Eels, and Ornate Bichir (not Senegal).
