Volcán Wolf Giant Tortoise Hatchling

I understand the need to mark the individuals, but why do it in such an unsightly and conspicuous way? The spot of paint would be equally easy to read if it had been placed on the carapace just above one of the rear legs - and hardly any visitors would notice.

I agree, though it might just be because it's easier for the keepers if they're so obviously marked.
