Short-beaked echidna enclosure, July 2020

How visible is Bruce in this enclosure? He used to almost always show up in his old one.

Bruce now has access to this outdoor area from the Nocturnal House. Apparently the best time to spot him is around 4pm. We tied ourselves in knots wondering how he copes with night and day at the same time, but maybe the Nocturnal House now has the lights on during the day so he's back to the routine he had in his old enclosure??

@Gibbon05 I was typing my comments when you posted! He wasn't visible this morning but @TriUK saw him on Monday afternoon.

He used to be a late riser in his old enclosure beside the pandas, but he usually was active in the afternoons, so I am not surprised.

This looks like an excellent enclosure!
