@ThylacineAlive That's the Latin name I got from a volunteer there and it looks similar to the other cichlids when I googled them. I'm pretty sure that's the species, but then again, I'm more used to marine fish species than freshwater.
@Zoological Point I'd love it if it was! That's probably the most endangered Madagascar fish in zoos, though, which is why I'm a little skeptical. Pretty sure they're not usually kept mixed with other fish for breeding purposes.
