This exhibit was built in 2014 when Auckland Zoo joined the Tasmanian Devil Ambassador Program. 3.1 devils arrived from Healesville Sanctuary in 2014; followed by 2.0 in 2018 after all but one of the original devils had died.
The zoo’s two devils are called Levi and Smiley and were born 2015. Levi (pictured) is the more dominant and vocal of the pair.
