Callospermophilus saturatus

Cascade Golden-Mantled Ground Squirrel at Mt. Rainier National Park (7/25/2020)
This is actually a separate species, the Cascade Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel C. saturatus.

It is still common to see general websites (including the National Park sites) labelling it as a subspeces of C. lateralis but it was elevated to a full species in 1994 and all current taxonomic references that I have seen treat it as such.
