She doesn't show the coloration of a Red Junglefowl, but there were chicks nearby that had colors similar to that of pheasant chicks, so this is probably a hybrid.
All Domestic Chickens are a subspecies of Red Junglefowl, not their own species. Also, Domestic Chicken chicks can look a lot like pheasant chicks, it just depends on the breed.
@birdsandbats Yeah, I mean there are feral chickens on the island, but also some wild-type junglefowl, so I was thinking it could be a hybrid. It may me a pure Domestic Chicken though.
