I thought Columbus was a serious well-regarded zoo, among the best in the country. What the heck is this whole complex supposed to mean?

@lintworm Columbus is generally well-regarded as such - I don't know who thought this complex was a good idea.

By 'flips' do you mean tricks, or some kind of stereotypical head-flick..?

@Andrew Swales Wait for the video in a few months and find out... Actually it uses the top of the arbor to climb upside down (with all fours) on the mesh ceiling, and leans back to land right side up on the arbor again. But it's such a fast motion that it appears as if its doing a solid flip.

In the absence of waiting for months, this sounds typical of stereotypic lemur behaviour caused by a low enclosure roof.
