If I had known that you were also visiting the Camargue region! My familiy and I were there (at Le Grau-du-Roi to be exactly) from July 18th to July 25th. We were also able to take pictures of the wild flamingos, although they seem to be a little more away then thisones.
Oh that's a shame. Sadly I arrived on the 26th of July!
I am based in Montpellier right now, so about 30 minutes' drive away from Le Grau-du-Roi. Did you see the Seaquarium?
Yes I did. It's definetly worth a visit, specially the shark area (about 30 shark species in the entire aquarium). I recommend to go when it opens or in the late afternoon, early evening (or select your favourite starttime when you book in advance online).
