Minnesota Zoo has been seeming to take a deep dive from what it once was, which is a real shame since there's so much space and possibilities. Exhibits like the Russia's Grizzly Coast show what the zoo can do, so it's a shame they are using it for temporary attractions and cheesy revamps.
@MonkeyBat you are absolutely correct. And because of these decisions coupled with the pandemic, they are in bigger financial trouble than ever. The formula for the temporary “Africa” attraction saved them once, but they used the same formula so many times that it’s getting very old and is ruining the zoo(in my opinion) To think only 4 years ago the zoo was doing fine, and had good direction.
I love dinosaurs (obviously) but I'm never really a fan of these exhibits because 1) the animatronics are usually janky, 2) they're also usually highly inaccurate, and 3) the information in the signage is also usually wrong.
