@Arizona Docent The area "The Last Frontier" where the mountain lion exhibit is located on which this sign hangs is Canada/United States themed, so in that context it makes some sense. There's a bunch of other signage too referencing America.
If I ever do see a wild mountain lion (unlikely due to their secrecy), I would not be worried about my safety. I would be worried about having the right aperture and shutter speed, the composition, the angle of light, etc...
@Arizona Docent I think that would depend entirely on at what distance you see a wild mountain lion. Seeing it from a certain distance, then yes, I too would be thinking about photography. But if it were close I would be worried about my safety.
