The grassy area (which I have seen described as the future musk ox exhibit on Facebook) was empty. In the mulch-floored area in the back two wapitis, previously housed with the moose in The Last Frontier, were now housed.
@SivatheriumGuy I don't think you can mix musk ox and wapiti, so I would think the wapiti are only here temporarily. I don't know about the musk ox, I don't think they have officially confirmed they plan to get those. My source for calling it the future musk ox exhibit is a zoo enthusiast Facebook page, where they got that information I do not know. We will just have to wait and see what species will eventually inhabit this exhibit.
