Taken in Gypsum, Colorado. It was a little bit bigger than a gray squirrel, and didn't have a bushy tail. It ran into its burrow when I tried to get closer, so I know it's a ground squirrel. I doubt it's a prairie dog. It also has a black stripe stretching from its nose to its eyes.
