So many of the zoo's enclosures are very plain and basic, as if the exhibits are never touched again after being built a couple of decades ago. The primates don't have a lot of arboreal opportunities, the big cats have a few rocks and that's it, the hoofstock are in boring paddocks and many birds have clipped wings. Ugh. The word 'enrichment' is perhaps not known to the staff of Zoo de La Palmyre.
