This zoo seems to have alot of quite decent enclosures structurally. Even the old fashioned wire cages are nicer and larger than most with nice arches and black metal. The overriding problem I see is that their is very minimal and sub-par plantings in all the enclosures. Just dusty dirt everywhere.

‘Hardly a single one which had a decent size’ is very critical and wrong, many of the enclosures are good. Scarlet Ibis, Cheetah, oryx, impala, reptiles, lemurs etc. come to mind. It’s a real mix of good and bad IMO. The majority of primate, bird and hoofstock are kept in average/above average conditions. Although I understand the ape complex to be extremely unique and unpopular on this website, I like it and it’s a decent upgrade from before. Huge room for improvement, especially carnivores, but decent altogether nonetheless.
