I was thinking that, if they constructed an additional indoor area, this could be a very nice tree kangaroo exhibits. I've never seen koalas outdoors at any Northwestern European zoo so I think tree kangaroos would be a very nice way to fill up this now empty area.

Well, at least in Duisburg Zoo the Koalas are reguarly in their outdoor enclosure (which is mainly the male wombat's enclosure) when it is warm enough. If they are outside, the wombat has no access to its outdoor-area.
