I didn't realize Tierpark Berlin even kept Beisa oryx (Oryx beisa). Though my information may be outdated, I thought the only ones in Europe were in French zoos and Czech zoos. When did they get them, where did they come from, and what lived in this exhibit prior?
 
They came this Summer. The enclosure held Chapman's Zebras before, but they left for Sofia zoo.
 
Me too, honestly, but since saw the new Alfred Brehm House feel very positive towards Tierpark's new developments.
 
@twilighter for the newer developments, I hope they look more like say Munich or Magdeburg than they do say Hannover or Gelsenkirchen. To be frank, the word Erlebnis being mentioned on the map is alarming...
