red river hog 28 Sep 2020 @CarLover Yesterday the sign read: Plains Death Adder (Acanthophis hawkei). Barkly Tableland Death Adder is another name for that species. They had Northern Death Adder (Acanthophis praelongus), but it seems that they don't anymore.

Chlidonias 29 Sep 2020 I suspect it is more likely they have simply updated the sign for the same animal(s). A. hawkei was formerly included within A. praelongus.
