This looks to be an amazing exhibit, much larger than the terrific Sea Lion Cove at Fresno Chaffee Zoo and Omaha even has a wave machine, a truly spectacular addition to any zoo exhibit. I wonder if this could be the best pinniped habitat in North America? Another candidate could be the Saint Louis Zoo sea lion exhibit with its cool underwater tunnel. All of the new developments in Omaha over the past decade (African Grasslands, Asian Highlands, 5-acre Children's Zoo, revamped Scott Aquarium, Sea Lion Shores) have been brilliant.
@snowleopard I definitely agree. I was amazed by this exhibit when I visited it. Though I can't speak for the best pinniped exhibit in America, as I haven't visited other big players like St. Louis or Fresno, this without a doubt is the best pinniped exhibit I have seen.
