I wouldn't have thought a hybrid with a Red Lory would show such an increase of blue on the bird (I would have guessed at Violet-necked Lory, given that Red Lories are predominantly red), but the photo below shows a similar-looking hybrid which was between a Red Lory and a Green-naped Lorikeet (from the Woburn gallery on Zoochat).
