Punta Sur, 31-07-2019. The first raccoon I saw was this semi-domesticated one which lived around the public beach area of the Punta Sur ecological park.
Thanks! Glad to have seen it. Such an iconic island species, and probably one of the rarest small carnivores in the world.
And they can't be seen anywhere else since none are in captivity, so missing out on them would have really sucked.
