Presumably it works fine; the much larger Smithsonian Zoo nearby has the same mix, along with golden lion tamarin (which, alternatively, don't always play nice with the sloths). Sloths are pretty lowkey and are commonly mixed with a variety of bird species, which as far as I've observed generally ignore them.
