It is indeed an Algerian Ribbed Newt - and it looks nothing whatsoever like an Eastern Newt despite what Luke claims whilst it looks a lot like the Iberian Ribbed Newt posted as an initial guess.... to the point that I can't even understand where on earth he is getting those claims from!
@TeaLovingDave Yeah now I see it. I just remember seeing distinctly Eastern newts swimming around like shown in the picture, and I guess I jumped to conclusions a little to fast. Its not really that funny, we all make mistakes.
Again, I am sorry for not getting it right, but it isn't laughable at all. @TeaLovingDave as a moderator I don't expect you to be laughing at when someone else gets a species wrong. On other media people can identify species for what they are, and they sometimes might get it wrong, but they have never get laughed at? Just please don't, its not really polite, especially when we are discussing what a species might be. Its really hurting me, okay?
