Shona and Kelly were Marineland's last two Common dolphins. They were caught in the wild and arrived at Marineland 13/12/1974. Shona was estimated to have been born in 1967; Kelly was estimated to have been born in 1969.
Shona and Kelly lived with many other Common dolphins throughout their time at Marineland. The last two wild caught dolphins were Selina and Cassana, who arrived in 1987.
Shona died in 2006 of congestive heart failure; and Kelly died two years later in 2008 of stomach tumour.
