There is a certain 'heightened' house style at this small zoo - see also 'Livingstone's skeleton' tied to a chair in the cheetah enclosure.

They have somewhat bizzare web as well - ZOO Chleby The claim this unique (indeee it is!) pavilion was inspired by Angkor Wat(!) made my day!

when I first saw the head my immediate thought was that it reminded me of Bayon at Angkor. I don't mind this anywhere near as much as Detroit's giraffe house (!) but the head is so vastly out of proportion to the cage surrounding it that it looks far more ridiculous than it might otherwise.
