Spectacled owls, November 2020

Just recording that there is still a handful of owls left at the zoo. There are two snowy owls next door and there might be one or two owls behind the lions and tigers (not looked for a couple of weeks and won't be able to do so until December now).
 
Are there two different subspecies here? The pair on the right is noticeably different.

The ones on the right are juveniles halfway through transitioning into adult plumage :P see, for instance, this photograph of another juvenile at Twycross:
