Saint Vincent Amazon

Walled Garden: Saint Vincent Amazon. July 31, 2016.

Didn't know these were kept in European collections anymore, I thought they had only been historically present in Jersey.

@Onychorhynchus coronatus It has been kept in a fair share of European collections actually (9 in total, if we were to trust zootierliste). The bird at Paradise Park has since sadly deceased but there is still a pair of St. Vincent amazons at Pairi Daiza in Belgium since a recent import.

Didn't Jersey keep this species for many years too and do they still keep the St Lucia amazon ?

@Onychorhynchus coronatus Once again according to zootierliste, Jersey did indeed keep the species from 1975 to 1985 but not anymore.
