Why display Galapagos tortoises in an African attraction when spurred & Aldabra tortoises are fairly common as well? Is this a temporary exhibit?

@Dhole dude I would argue that Aldabra Tortoise would be nearly as ecologically unfit for a Savannah themed attraction as Galapagos Tortoises tbh, Sulcatas are the only real solution for a large tortoise species.

@Dhole dude, Lowry Park currently has 5 Galapagos tortoise on exhibit, 2 larger ones and 3 juveniles. The smaller yard next door is for the juveniles.

The Aldabrans have a somewhat similar exhibit ... on the other side.
