A small notice with regards to my gallery postings in these difficult days.
After having taken a break from my gallery postings for a while and doing some thinking about what to do with them now Belgium is in lockdown again and zoos are sadly closed again, I have finally sort of come to a decision concerning my gallery postings.
During the first lockdown I was barely able to look at pictures or other zoo-related stuff as it pained me too much and made me sad, making it impossible for me to go through and post stuf.
So far during this second lockdown that does not seem to be the case and I am able to enjoy looking at and working with zoo pictures, albeit in smaller portions than normal.
I have also been able to alleviate the worst of my anxiety, stress and mental exhaustion and to find some ways to prevent and cope with those, giving me some energy to do stuff I enjoy.
So I have decided to continue going through and posting pictures to the extent that I am able to and can find the energy for. My gallery postings are almost certainly going to be neither regular nor frequent as long as this situations lasts, but I am planning to do my very post to some stuff every now and then, whenever I can and feel like it.
I hope people have some understanding for my feelings and struggles, as I try to have for those of others. I also hope my postings will be enjoyed and will bring some joy in these dark days.
Stay safe, stay strong, have courage and take care of yourself and your loved ones, everyone. Follow the rules and keep yourself and others safe. Together we can beat this virus once more. We will get through this, one day there will be light at the end of this tunnel. Better times will come.
