Sharks! - Entry from Lobby

As stupendous as parts of Georgia Aquarium are (like whale sharks!), and even though there is a tremendous amount of water and a dizzying array of captive wildlife, there is always a 'shopping mall' feel to the interior of the building. Monterey Bay has its historic cannery location and Shedd has its iconic 1930 architecture, with Georgia looking very similar to many shopping malls I've been to in my life.

I agree, this was my second visit to the aquarium and I really noticed the clumsy design of so many features and exhibits, its like the designers had carte blanche to include one of every possible design element in existence and it sometimes leans toward a chaotic quality.
