Predator and Prey - Lynx Spider and Damselfly

Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mount Coot-tha, January 2019.

This photo was taken a few years ago and I completely forgot I had it! I remember the damselfly (which looks like a Common Bluetail, Ischnura heterosticta) was trying to escape but the Lynx Spider had such a strong grip on it. The spider won.

@WhistlingKite24 The lynx spider is a Common Lynx Spider (Oxyopes quadrifasciatus) Dark Morph.

@Yoshistar888 Yeah I have it noted on my life list as a Common Lynx Spider just didn't put it on here for some reason.
