I agree, but he is still cute.

In an otherwise good zoo ALL the cat cages are small and horrible.
I felt so sad for the cats there.

The water pool for the water loving jaguars is enormus huge, the hiding places are very special, and the wonderful tropcial planting in this natural exhibit is phantastic. Especially the many very high climbing trees are amazing.

Maybe, but sarcasm and Irony are the spice of life....

By the way, not everyone here has the opinion, that this old style cages are bad....But I say, there can't be any dicussion about it.

And for the hiding. Mostly every cage has big wooden boxes where the cats can hide completely.

So do you really like this exhibit and do you think, this are good exhibits for big cats ?
And if the cats would prefer to stay outside and not to go into a wooden box during the hot summer ? What about the size of this cages ? Do you think, they are big enough for them ?
What about a water pool for the jaguars ? Do you think, its not essential or necessray for Jaguars ? What about climbing trees ? And why animal keepers are don't like this big cat cages and the whole big cat keeping teh Berlin Animal Park, Hmm ? Are you member of the BdZ ? So please go to the next carnivour keeper meeting and ask some big cat keepers ,if they like the big cat exhibts and cages at the Berlin Animal park. I know some, and no one like them, so some keepers at the Animal Park itselfs....Are they wrong ? I accept your personal flavour, but this cages are not suitable for big cats.Its a shame to keep tigers, leopards and jaguars in cages, smaller than many bird cages...
