I suspect that these are Limulus , the Atlantic horseshoe crab: but there are several other species and I know nothing about the differences between them.
There are actually not too many extant species, before mass extinctions these arachnids were plentiful and diverse. Judging by the overall appearance, this is most likely Limulus, as it is also a very common species in aquariums as well.
