@Tafin Yes, Marble was the last Grant’s zebra born at Hamilton Zoo in 2003 to Shane and Maria. The stallion that replaced Shane (Bwana) was a generic Plains zebra (as is Malawi), so all foals born at Hamilton Zoo since have been generic also.
I’d like Hamilton Zoo to replace Malawi with one of the first generation colts born from DDZ’s import to rejuvenate the herd at Hamilton Zoo.
