Nelson's Sparrow- Ammodramus nelsoni

@CheeseChameleon2007 They used to be considered one species as the Sharp-tailed Sparrow but were split at some point. They are nearly identical so range can be a valid approach to differentiating them. According to ebird there has never been a Saltmarsh Sparrow recorded in Texas.

@CheeseChameleon2007 No Saltmarsh Sparrows in Texas. When identifying birds, date and location are the most important field marks.
