Just to explain why this is at Paignton Zoo - for a few years, The Great Brick Safari, a collection of 80 life-sized Lego brick animals, has travelled to various zoos and been exhibited during the summer season to entice more visitors. Zoos have to pay a large sum of money ( I've heard a rumour that it's £250,000) and presumably they would normally hope to recoup that and more. It was Paignton's turn this year and the exhibit was due to be displayed from Easter until September. However, covid19 and lockdowns disrupted the plans and the Lego is still here until January. This Christmas scene is a festive bonus!

Just a thought - Santa lives at the North Pole........ Reminds me of when I worked in a nursery. One of the staff was preparing a Christmas scene with polar bears and penguins and my comment that they lived at opposite ends of the Earth didn't go down well ;)
