One of the Muntjac exhibits has been converted to house Maned Wolves relocated from River Safari. Mist nets and hot wire separate the wolves from the boardwalk.
Wow, this is going to look great at night. I find maned wolves a bit hit and miss when it comes to actually seeing them so maybe the evening opening hours of the night safari will encourage more activity.
@PAT i'm very keen to see how it turns out. With the right lighting it could seem like the maned wolves are just a couple of feet away with no obvious barrier.
Maned wolves were displayed at Night Safari many years ago but could only be viewed from the tram ride. They seemed fairly active then.
